Meet Dr. Greg Shanbour

Dr. Greg Shanbour was born and raised in Oklahoma City and chose to follow his father’s legacy by becoming a dentist. In 2012, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Dr. Shanbour then continued his education with a Residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York and a Periodontology and Implant Dentistry specialty certificate from New York University College of Dentistry. He is currently an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, and a board member for the Oklahoma County Dental Society.

As a Board Certified Periodontist, Dr. Shanbour is uniquely qualified to help patients with preventing, diagnosing, and treating gum disease, gingivitis, and bone loss. He is passionate about dentistry because it gives him the opportunity to meet and get to know a wide variety of people in this community. Dentistry is a profession to connect and serve as many people as possible and Dr. Shanbour is dedicated to providing high quality care to each of his patients.

Away from the office, Dr. Shanbour can be found on the golf course or watching OU football with his family. Together they also enjoy fishing, cooking, and spending quality time with each other.
